as u can see , the bike was parked for years...
NOT a MINT bike.....based on age.....and how it was stored....
no CHAIN on this bike , ...Best offer.....Accepted.

Original Decals ...with scratches in some spots ...on gas tank....right side
Original Schwinn ...Red Leather seat ....small metal Name plate attached ...rear of seat ...
also having TWO coil springs,  ONE - on each side under seat  ....Chrome Bar  attached to rear seat,  for  Appearance ,
seen in photos ....Original tires Schwinn Name ......on side wall , White Walls , and thus original ...Tires LEAK AIR ....
Original but the chain...is ...missing ....... on girls bike.....
Original rubber grips , yellow from age ....Schwinn name on each white wall tire...
Original ..I see Mild case of surface rust ...Original Chrome fenders ..front and rear....with small dents ...but still super clean,  and shinny...
Original Gas Tank with Horn button...no sounds...
new batteries , maybe needed
or it does not work ....but no warranty ...
No double lights ,  front of bike , rusty , small dents,  still solid n well kept ...bike ..

this bike was purchased new and honestly never used.....by a good friend who’s  father in 1960s  , Felt it would be a collectors item someday..
and he was correct !
He also purchased the PHANTOM bike......by Schwinn...no photos yet ...but the bike is  super cool and heavy !
the rear Plastic reflector has lost a lot of chrome Paint....but RED  lens , is still showing “ S “

The Schwinn Debutante was made between 1959 to 1962.
The debutante came out in 1959 and was quite the beauty.
This bike is highly collectible,  as it featured some very desirable accessories.
The most notable accessory ...this bike feature was the dual head lamps ...name "twin-beam headlamps".
These head lights , to this day , are extremely rare ...and can cost hundreds of dollars.
As the premium bike in the girls lineup,
they were loaded with the best of the best accessories...
