1854 New York Bank of Owego Circular Capital Stock LossDescription
Excellent quality document. Fresh from the estate of a Colonial and Revolutionary War historian and author, this is one of many 18th and 19th century documents that I am offering from the collection.
Very good condition 1854 circular, explaining how the bank is about to lose "a considerable portion" of capital stock of the bank due to a businessman named Henry Dwight Jr, who invested and embezzeled money from the Chicago and Mississippi Railroad Company.
