1873 South Side RailRoad Co of Long Island 0 bond certificate [y7039]

Description

1895 special delivery cover from Watertown CT to New York.  Green PSE, generic text corner card, CDS and cork cancel.  "offered at adddress" marking at bottom; the location was apparently closed when the special delivery attempt was made.  Line under 10 cents, which given the date makes this the scarce E4 (E5 didn't go into use until the fall of 1895).  Scott 0 as a single or 0 on cover.

Thanks to the user who pointed out the incorrect description, which refers to a different item.  The correct one:  1873 00 bond from the South Side RailRoad Co. of Long Island.  Due 1913, with quite a few coupons still present.  Unfortunately there are a lot of splits at the internal folds; the bond (serial #194) has been stored folded as seen in the first image and I'll leave it that way for shipping. Cox SOU-357-B-50.  quite large unfolded!
