1880 Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railway Company Stock Certificate Signed by Jay Gould
Historic line, known as the KATY railroad, was the very first to enter Texas from the North. Controlled for decades by infamous robber baron Jay Gould.
This piece is hand signed by Jay Gould!!! Has condition issues, looks like someone in the past had framed it and used a brown glue to hold it to the matting. Not torn or sticky, but has dried glue stains that bled through to the front. Still signed by Gould and his bold blue signature does not have any staining on it. See scans!
Superb vignette of cattle and with cowboy in background. Several other types from the historic railroad listed this week.
