    1894 United States Car Company Stock Certificate
    Originally incorporated in New Jersey as the New England Car Company, they produced a number of rail cars and specialized in hopper cars. They had several production plants including Hedgwisch, Illinois, Decatur, Alabama and Urbana, Ohio. Certificate is issued for 10 shares to Maj. General W. S. Cooper for 10 shares on June 2, 1894!
