This auction is for:
1923 Atlanta and Charlotte Air Line Railway Company Stock Certificate
Historic line, founded in 1877, was part of the Southern Railway starting in 1894. It was merged into the Norfolk Southern in 1996 and is still used today by Amtrak's Crescent Service. Early issue date for this type, most you see are 1930s or higher! Fully issued and hand-signed by company President George Canfield.
