    The Flying Rebels MC of Lakeland, Fla., are shown here waiting their turn in the vehicle safety check held recently by the Lake-
    land Jaycees. Members of the club also helped check vehicles in the afternoon. All of the motorcycles passed and were given
    a safety sticker for their machines.
    This line up of entrants copped ail the events and trophies at the Bedford County
    MC’s annual picnic and outing in the beautiful mountain country around Everett, Pa.

    Can you imagine this! somebody remind-
    ing you of winter, already! Many may
    wonder where we dug this up in the
    middle of summer. But really, it wasn’t
    our idea. Gil Frydell serving with the
    U.S. Navy just wanted to be the first to
    remind you of the cold riding days ahead.
    Gil, dressed in winter riding togs has
    utilized a navy face mask for years
    against the cold wintry winds. He enjoys
    year round riding, and the face mask is a
    portion of his winter riding gear.

    meeting of the Southeastern Harley - Davidson Dealers Association at Atlanta, Ga., August 10, 1958.
    Three members of Texas’ Corpus Christi MC work hard on
    the construction of a new barbecue pit. The group looking on
    in the background must have drawn up the plans as they seem
    to be giving out with plenty of advice. The boys didn’t need
    any advice, as you can see they’re paying no attention to the
    chatter.
    TEXAS GALS—This bevy of Texas girl riders are all smiles
    before departing for home following their gala convention held
    in Dallas.
    One of AM’s monthly readers, Robert
    Kropp of Trucksville, Pa., prepares to
    take off on his first twin cylinder motor-
    cycle—a 1958 Harley-Davidson Sportster.
    Bob started out on, and was a 165 rider
    before.
    The Memphis MC is proud of their two
    members Robert and Bonnie Turpin, for
    the four trophies they won at the tour
    and rally in Natchez State Park.
