HERE IS a new twist in Motorcycle
Advertising. The photo shows Bill
Gordon, of Radio Station WHK, Cleve-
land. Ohio, who has recently acquired
a BSA Flash model.
The photograph was taken while Bill
was actually on the air on one of his
recent daily programs during which
he interviewed BSA Field Representa-
tive. E. Norman Millar, who covers the
Midwestern territory. During the en-
tire course of the program the engine
of the 500 Flash was running to dem-
onstrate the mechanical silence and
quietness of the exhaust note of the
motorcycle!
Mr. Gordon reports much interest in
the program and many inquiries from
interested persons. Quoting Bill he says
“most of the fellows 33 years old have
always had a secret desire to own a
motorcycle, but never thought it would
be ‘The Right Thing’ to do.” “I think
we are swinging some of them over.”

use more publicity of this kind.
