We built the new Eagle D/T to win, and that’s

We make the Eagle D/T tire with four plies
of 3 -T nylon cord, constructed at a low cord angle
to reduce heat buildup on high speed tracks.
We developed the tread design by com-
puter—and tested it thoroughly in the lab and in
the dirt. We added strength to the lugs by but-
tressing them. To resist chunking. And we for-
mulated special rubber compounds. To give the
new Eagle D/T positive traction—off the line, in
the turns and on the straights —on both loose
and grooved tracks.
