The Stamp and Cover commemorates the Championship Games planed for March and April which were
CANCELLED
because of the pandemic.
The stamp was released Aug. 18, 2020. This stamp issue is # 3 of 3 Hockey Championship designs of 2020. The first two championship took place in January in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. See pictures of stamps and covers. Another World cup took place in Jan . 2021 in Edmonton, AB.
Canada Post printed a
very limited
issue (Picture Postage) commemorating this Championship. Only a few of these stamps were used to create FDC's. The stamp issued will be listed in the new CPPC (Canadian Picture Postage Collectors Catalogue)  - picturepostage -net
