Description
Founded in 1836, the Little Miami Railroad was an Ohio-based rail line getting its name from the Little Miami River. The second incorporated Ohio railroad is defunct today, and most of the rail line has been converted into a popular recreational trail. After the Civil War, it was one of the most successful railroads in the United States. This Antique Little Miami Railroad Company Stock Certificate, 20 Shares, was issued to January 14, 1887 to C. J. Stzduman (difficult to read the writing). Stock’s front page features a decorative border, an agricultural vignette, illustration of the original Tom Thumb Steam Train, Company Stamp Seal, and Serial Number 15329. The back page contains the company authorizations and signatures. Dimensions: 9-1/4 X 5-5/8 inches. This fabulous piece of American history is sure to make a nice addition to any Post Civil War-era or railroad collection! If you would ever like to make a deal on multiple items I sell on eBay and to pay only one cost for shipping, I invite you to message or email me at any time.
