    BIG BUSINESS GIRL (1931)
    Vintage original 11 x 14" (28 x 35 cm.) title lobby card, USA. Loretta Young, Frank Albertson, Ricardo Cortez, Joan Blondell, dir: William A. Seiter. Warner Brothers First National Vitaphone. The story was about a college girl who, when her lackluster boyfriend goes away with his band, decides to see if she can make it in the big business world. She finds that it is her beauty and her legs, in whatever means they can be used, that will get her someplace. The film is also a notorious pre-Code film which Turner included in their recent "Forbidden Hollywood" campaign.
    Brilliant Art Deco lettering and collage art highlight this layout, in which the image becomes part of the title treatment. The three top stars -- Young, Cortez and Albertson -- are featured. FINE.
