California Street Cable Car Stock Certificate - San Francisco - James B. Stetson

This is for a rare California Street Cable Car Stock Certificate from San Francisco.
Signed by President James B. Stetson - a famous San Francisco figure and author of the early days of SF and the 1906 earthquake.  He was a mining engineer who helped the now ghost town of Kentucky Camp Arizona with a way to solve the water problem for the mining operation and put the plan in place with investors.  One day before a meeting with Santa Rita Water and Mining Company stockholders in 1905 he was killed in a fall from a window at the
Santa Rita Hotel
in Tucson.
Extremely fine condition with shadowing from the stamps on the reverse.  See Pics.
