Description
The Chicago Rush played at the Allstate Arena from 2001 to 2013. They were a member of the Central Division of the National Conference of the League. Founded in 2001, the team qualified for the playoffs 11 out of 12 seasons and won one AFL championship, ArenaBowl XX in 2006. During their history, the Rush won five divisional titles and competed in the AFL Conference Championship six times, including four consecutive appearances from 2004 to 2007. They also had the largest market in the AFL. After the 2013 season, the Rush announced that their operations were suspended and are currently not part of the Arena Football League. The team's roster was liquidated in a dispersal draft.This game jersey is a navy mesh sleeveless style jersey with solid shoulders and sleeves. White numbers edged in gray also on the shoulders. Gray knit neck stripe. The lower front neckline has had a patch removed and an outline is barely visible. Between the neckline and numbers on the front is an oval Chicago Rush team emblem. On the right chest is a “U.S. ARMY” rectangular shaped patch in gray edged in black and outlined in black. The end of each sleeve has a gray knit stripe with a screened on white stripe. All else is sewn on. Under each arm to the jersey bottom is a gray knit panel. No name on the back and an outline of an old nameplate is not visible. It is tagged in the lower front with a size “50” tag. No other tags are on the jersey. It remains in good condition.
