WE ARE DELIGHTED TO OFFER THREE DIFFERENT LOBBY CARDS FROM CECIL B. DeMILLE'S INCOMPARABLE KING OF KINGS ! Reportedly DeMille's personal favorite of the many movies he made, this is a film that practically defined the word "epic." In our experience, all of the original material from this film is quite rare, dating from the silent era over 80 years ago. THREE LOBBY CARDS ARE OFFERED HERE. The consignor obtained these from a defunct Illinois movie theater decades ago. Apparently the theater owner had small frames (these LCs date from the silent era), and trimmed two of these lobbies so they would fit into his frames. Fortunately, one of these lobbies is still a full 11" x 14", while the other two are trimmed to about 8.5" x 13". The full border lobby is spectacular, with just extremely slight wear (it has a very tiny one quarter of an inch tear into the image area background). The two trimmed lobbies have a few pinholes along their edges. We grade the full lobby a remarkable FINE/VERY FINE, and the other two "trimmed FINE." All look extremely attractive and would display well. This is a rare, if not unique, opportunity to obtain original paper from this extremely important motion picture.
