    Gulf War Ship Propeller
    This desert storm amphibious vehicle propeller is a true piece of history. It was salvaged off an Assault Amphibious Vehicle being cut up for scrap. The Amphibious Assault Vehicle (AAV) is a ship-to-shore troop transporter and fully armed combat vehicle, owned by the US Marine Corps. The amphibious tanks launch from the sea-level well decks of assault ships they make a seamless transition from ocean to shore. They carry can carry 10,000 pounds of cargo and as far as 300 miles inland.
    This original assault amphibious vehicle propeller is a great find. It is made of steel. It comes with its original grey paint and patina from its years on the sea. It measures 24 inches in total diameter. From the center of the hub to the edges of the blades, it measures 12 inches. The hub is 3.5 inches in diameter, and 6 inches long. It weighs 37.5 pounds.
