The set of fiber splicing equipment was used sparingly in a small (2 researchers) optics lab and meticulously maintained (the protective film is even still on the LCD).
All parts are test and in excellent working order.
The Fiber Holder design (for both 250 micron bare fiber or 900 micron jacketed fiber) allows the fiber that is being processed to be seamlessly moved from one unit to the next during the fiber splicing process.
