I would rate them as good overall for this ~100 year old books.
Luckily these volumes are all sewed, which means no rusty staples for you :-)
Modest wear to boards/spine/corners/edges.
Foxing, mainly to margins and first and last pages; more or less intense.
I've roughly flipped through the books, there is no indication of  missing pages.
But I can not check each single page of the total of more than 4000 pages,
as this would require several hours of work.
A very remarkable book set of WW1 !!!!!
