Rare cigarette card book depicting WW1 in beautiful cigarette photo cards.
It has 20 chapters, each with 12 b&w photo cards, which makes a total of 240 cigarette cards.
The pictures themselves are very interesting. They were all taken from the Bavarian War Archive in Munich and
show various events during WWI. The introduction notes that a lot of so-called war pictures were actually posed.
For this set, they tried to use only "real" pictures.
... complete with all cigarette cards mounted correctly.
