    Large Sailor 1911 Fountain Pen Cap, Damaged in Fire, Parts
    This listing is for a large Sailor 1911 cap that was damaged in a fire.  The plastic/celluloid was damaged but the gold filled clip and cap band were not damaged.  There is a very small amount amber looking goo that is in a few grooves on the cap band and a few specks that are on the clip.  This goo will clean off w/ a sharp plastic tool but it requires careful work so as not to damage the gold filled finish.
