Please note Hoya are epiphytes and most love to climb so they need support when grown as houseplants. This support offered by our natural Bamboo trellises facilitate the faster, new growth of leaves on long tendrils, otherwise leafless, that naturally wait to have something to hold on to in order to grow new leaves; hence you will get a fuller, faster growing plant when you provide them with the right size of HoyaLindaGarden Bamboo Trellises they need to grow happily. That is why we recommend growing your Hoya and Dischidia with our Bamboo trellis support. Also, we strongly recommend that you plan ahead and choose the right size Bamboo trellis for your house plant. Big leaf Hoya will need a larger, sturdier trellis down the line vs small leaf Hoya or Dischidia so we recommend you purchase these trellis with the right size in mind for them and like that you won't need to change their trellis often.
