This auction is for a rare 1997 New York/New Jersey Metrostars MLS player-used training/warm-up jacket
. Jacket was worn by US forward AJ Wood. Jacket is made by Nike. Top is a size Large. Jacket has his #8 sewn on the front under the embroidered Nike logo. Team logo patch is sewn on front.
Left sleeve has sewn on Fujifilm patch and right sleeve has MLS patch. Back has large Fujifilm patch sewn on. Jacket is mesh and shows mild
wear. No pockets. Zipper is intact and functional.
VWood played with the Metrostars in 1996 and 1997 - played in 36 games and scored 7 goals. Also payed for the Columbus Crew and DC United. He was a
University of Virginia product where his team won 4 straight NCAA championships and he was named College player of the year in 1994.
