    This Universal horror classic from director James Whale scared the nation in its 1931 release - so they released it again in 1938, for another generation. The film, which had made an instant star of 44-year-old Boris Karloff, introduced a whole new generation to Mary Shelly's classic Monster 7 years later.
    This desirable title card shows slight edge wear with very minor tears, pinholes, and some staining at the bottom edge. There are some remnants of penciled writing in the left border, and there is a pencil mark in the lower left background. Fine/Very Fine
