PITTSBURGH PIRATES #17 GAME WORN Black BATTING PRACTICE Size XL JERSEY

Description

This is a #17 batting practice jersey.  They did not use names on the back of this black mesh jersey.  This style was used from 1997 through 2000 and during this period #17 was worn by either Joe Oliver (1999), Doug Strange (1998) or Dale Sveum in 1996 or 1997.  It has "PIRATES" across the front in sewn on gold letters.  Gold numbers sewn on the back.  Two buttons at the neck.  Pirate head sewn on sleeve patch.  The Majestic emblem is embroidered on the right sleeve.
Inside the jersey is a Majestic wash tag with their code 0006 on it which indicates it is a regular mesh team issued Batting Practice jersey. This code was used in their jerseys from 2000-2011.
Tagged in the tail with the Majestic Authentic Diamond Collection plus a white size “48” tag.
It remains in very good condition.
