    The Puget Sound and Cascade Railway Company was formed in 1912 to construct and operate a short-line logging road within Skagit County, Washington, from Clear Lake to a log dump at Mount Vernon on the Skagit River (16 miles of track). The line was controlled by the Clear Lake Lumber Company.
