Railroad 1881 Bond Certificate: Pittsburgh, New York & Chicago Construction Co.

Description

This is a large, early bond certificate for the 'Pittsburgh, New York and Chicago Construction Company.' It was printed by Jordan Stationery Co., 7 Old Post Office Building, NY and has a vignette of a locomotive. It was issued in 1881 and measures about 12' x 11" not including the stub, which folds off to the left. Generally clean with the original, even folds and two small, neat v-shaped cut cancellations in the center.
