  • Condition: The North Lebanon Railroad was the first railroad to reach Cornwall Pennsylvania. It was incorporated in 1850 by George Dawson & William Coleman. It extended for about 6 miles from the ore banks in Cornwall to the Union Canal in Lebanon City. Originally it was carts pulled by teams of mules until a locomotive was purchased. Eventually it became part of the Philadelphia & Reading Railroad.

    This bond has a horizontal fold and 4 vertical folds.
    It has no holes or tears.
    Part of the border on the right side has been cut off.
    There is parchment paper attached to the bottom and folded.
    One piece of the parchment has been cut off and another has a hole.
