The example of writting is amazing as are the listings of the names of the vintage heroes of the NEW YORK CITY Police & Fire-Dept. In the pages it states patroling the East and North Rivers and the 24th. Prec. of the N.Y.C. Police Dept. See page of 10/30/1885 it states a arrest was made off of Pier 1 of the East River and a row boat and items were confinsated, the total net worth was listed as 0.00. That was a LOT of money in 1885.
