Welcome to the auction of a absolutely guaranteed original vintage theatrical movie lobby card ( measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) for THE CHEAT. THE PHOTO IS OF THE ACTUAL EXAMPLE OF THIS CARD YOU WILL RECIEVE . The Cheat, the 1923 George Fitzmaurice directed silent romantic love triangle film ( a South American woman elopes with a rich American stock broker, and her father disinherits her, and she is kidnapped by an Indian man who says he is a Prince, but he is really a crook; he cheats the woman out of money, but offers to forgive the debt if she will sleep with him, but when the woman refuses him, he literally "brands" his family's mark on her shoulder, and she shoots him; her husband takes the blame and is tried for the murder, but is acquitted when she reveals the brand of shame!) which stars Pola Negri, Jack Holt, Charles de Rochefort, Dorothy Cumming, and Robert Schable. This is a remake of a 1915 movie of the same name starring Fannie Ward and Sessue Hayakawa. This is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. Note that the dark area on Negri's shoulder is not a defect of any sort. It is a bruise she gets from being abused in the movie. Also note that there are both full color and black & white lobby cards known to exist on this title. It is quite possible that Paramount sold a color set for more money than they sold the black & white set. The color cards are not "hand colored", although there were studios hand-coloring cards at this time. Condition: good to very good. The card was folded down the middle and tape was put on the back of the fold. There is tiny paper loss in the right blank corners and tiny letters written in pen in the left blank border. Add .85 for shipping to the U.S.A. to your winning bid .All other countries add for shipping plus a additional dollar shipping for every extra lobby card.

EBAY now requires all order checkout's be performed on Ebay only - so if your buying multiple posters or item's and they can be shipped together EBAY DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY COMBINE THEM in the checkout - I suggest just allowing me a day to adjust the shipping charges to reflect the combining shipping discounts - sadly Ebay's checkout doesn't caculate combined shipping discounts like my vendio account did just fine - so you must wait to pay until I have a chance to do this manually on your invoice before you pay if your ordering multiple posters.
