Description

This is an original, theater issued lobby card, 11 x 14, for the 1924 Fred Thomson silent cowboy western "The Fighting Sap."
Note: This lobby card is ultra rare with very few pieces of movie memorabilia surviving from this 1924 silent western. Fred Thomson was a major silent film cowboy star along with Tom Mix, before his untimely death in 1928. We have only seen two lobby cards ever sold or traded for this film, and have never seen this image before. It is very possible this is the only one of this image that exists. In addition, we believe this lobby card was purposely printed in black and white, as there is no sign of enough fading to explain the complete color loss.
This original 1924 lobby card is in very nice condition with some minor edge and handling wear, some edge and corner dings, chips and bends, scattered tack holes on the borders and corners, several small border tears, color loss from scuffing at the left side corner area, and some light fading. Overall, this lobby card is in beautiful shape with fantastic images and graphics and clear crisp black and white color. I would grade this lobby card a 6+, on a 1 to 10 scale (with 10 being in mint condition). We have included a lot of pictures, so you can see the cards condition for yourself.
