    Original American Title Lobby Card
    This ORIGINAL, title lobby card was designed and printed to promote the first theatrical release of the 1930 American, crime/drama feature, THE UNHOLY THREE.   The film is a remake of the Tod Browning 1925 silent feature.  Both versions star Lon Chaney, the Man of 1000 Faces.  In the early talkie version, Chaney is also the Man of Many Voices, as he provides five different voices: a parrot, an old woman, a girl, a ventriloquist, and the ventriloquist's dummy!  This film was Chaney's first and last talkie, as he died at the age of 47, less than two month's after the film's release.
    The film stars Lon Chaney as Professor Echo, with Lila Lee, Elliott Nugent, Harry Earles, and John Miljan.  It was directed by Jack Conway.  Lon Chaney and Harry Earles both reprised their roles from the silent film, in the talkie version of THE UNHOLY THREE.
    The lobby card is an ORIGINAL movie poster.  It is NOT a reprint, reproduction, re-issue, or commercial item available to the general public. It was created to be displayed in the movie theatre lobby to publicize the film.
    Heritage Auctions in Dallas, Texas, has sold the best scene lobby card two times in the past eight years, as reported in their on-line sales archives.  The card sold for 81 (2009), and 70 (2008).  I'm selling the

    CONDITION DEFECTS
    The lobby card is in outstanding condition.  There is slight discoloring in the left side border.  There are no other tears, fading, stains, smudges, missing paper, folds, or pin holes.  The reverse side is clean and unmarked.   The colors are richer and brighter, than the scanned image suggests.  I can't imagine finding a better condition card!
