Vintage original 11x14 in. US lobby card, near-fine condition.
The silent film crime drama
UNDER THE ROUGE
was released in 1925 by Encore Pictures and
directed by Lewis H. Moonmaw
. The image features a medium shot of Mal, a criminal (
James Mason
), as he stops to admire Daisy (
Claire De Lorez
) as she talks over her shoulder as another man stands behind her. The caption in the bottom border reads:
"You can't go, Tommy! I'm not coming back."
It is unrestored and in near-fine condition with a tiny bit of wear on the tip of the top left corner; one pinhole in the top border on the left side and one in the bottom border on the right side; a 1.5 in. long area of wear on the edge of the top border at the center; a small chip on the top right corner with signs of wear to the left of it; and a tiny bit of wear on the tips of the bottom corners. The color tinting is fresh and vibrant.
