    Description

For your consideration is a true piece of Worcester, Massachusetts history. This baseball uniform, worn by a member of the Dartmouth A.C. baseball team, is circa 1930s-1940s era. The team played their home games on Plantation Street and were part of the Mac Ben League.
This is not a small size like you'd typically see with vintage uniforms. The jersey is around a size 48, measuring approx. 24 inches across from pit to pit, as well as 32 inches long from top to bottom. The pants are around a size 36, with the waist measuring approx. 18 inches across and the length measuring approx. 36 inches long. The socks are also included, and measure approx. 25 inches long from tip to tip. The uniform appears to be all-original with no major problems. I could not find any moth holes or rips in the jersey. The piping still looks very nice and the "Dartmouth" name is still securely sewn across the front in felt. The "13" on the back has three small separations, but looks very nice. The pants also look great, missing just a button for one of the back pockets. I could not find any manufacturer's tags on the uniform.
