Description

Welcome to Sid's Garage !!!
Up for your kind consideration is an authentic vintage copy of the Hamburger Fremdenblatt from November 1, 1914.
In English, this is a WW1 German magazine aimed at Americans while we were still neutral during the Great War.  It explains the occupation of Belgium from an Imperial German perspective, and the first few months of the war.  Great first hand accounts of combat by German troops against the French in the early parts of the war.
What makes this so rare is that most German publications did not make it to the USA during the war, especially after the British cut the transatlantic cable in 1914.
