******* PRICE is 9 ****** This is a rare game-worn road jersey from the defunct Phoenix Mustangs of the West Coast Hockey League. They were in the league from 1997-01 before folding but won the Taylor Cup in 2000 in a 4-game sweep over Tacoma. This is left wing John Kosobud's jersey and he served as captain in the team's final season. He had 13 goals and 8 assists in 58 games. Everything is sewn on this SP jersey. It is size 56 and shows good overall use with lots of wear on the sleeves and front tail. The captain's "C" is sewn on as is the numbers and front logo and team patches on both sleeves and WCHL and Mission Hockey logo on the back hem. This jersey was obtained at a team sale after the Mustangs ceased operations, failing to work out a lease agreement at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Winner also gets a pair of matching game-worn socks that have some team repairs. Great items for some fan of Phoenix minor league hockey or fan of Kosobud who played at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and Concordia College from 1992-94 and played in the AHL (Springfield), USHL (North Iowa) and ECHL (Mississippi) before joining the Mustangs. His son Carson Kosobud is a star defenseman with the BCHL's Penticton Vees and has accepted a scholarship to play hockey at Arizona State. **********
